Five years to fill a gap that’s been there forever. The Caribbean builds it — ex-bourbon barrels, low and medium char, with notes of vanilla, dried fruit, caramel, coconut. Then Spanish oak ex-cherry wine barrels finish it. Natural sweetness. Hints of Sherry. Nothing manufactured. Miami always belonged in this conversation. Eight years in the making. Longer, if you count how long Miami’s been waiting. Aged in the Caribbean for 5 years first in low and medium char ex-bourbon barrels, building slowly. Vanilla, dried fruit, caramel, coconut. Then French Oak ex-cognac barrels finish the job. Smooth. Earned. Unhurried. Little River Distillery has patiently been perfecting our liquid gold for 8 years.
