The Little River Distillery is a full-service liquor production house and premium rum aging facility, based in the heart of Miami’s vibrant Little River neighborhood.

We specialize in turnkey solutions for liquor brands—from startups to established labels—offering everything from aging and blending to bottling and private labeling. 

Location

The Little River Distillery is located in the Little River neighborhood of Miami, which is an up-and-coming area. It is considered the "next Wynwood" where major players of the entertainment industry are already establishing their businesses. Our 10,000 sq. ft. facility is established as a unique destination for bottling, aging, tasting, retail, and private events.

Our Rum Master

José Perez Cárdenas is a chemical engineer passionate about the world of distillates with a primary focus on Rum. With more than 35 years of experience, he has worked and advised the main players and brands around the world to include Destilerías United SA (Diplomático), Destilerías Carúpano CA (Ron Carúpano), Ron Teresa, Pernod Ricard and Segrams among others. 

Founders

Kristjan Olaffson has been in the beverage industry for 20+ years, He is the founder and CEO of Wanderlust Spirits, the makers of Helix7 Vodka, Askur Gin and Lagoon Bay, craft spirits brands that are distributed in the US and 9 other markets. He is also the co-founder and CEO of Icelandic Glacial – one of the leading imported premium bottled waters in the USA. Prior to that Kristjan founded and ran numerous businesses in the technology, hospitality and entertainment space.
 
 
Carlos Espasas has been involved in the Rum business for the past 8 years, working in the development and aging of high level Rums.  He also actively trades molasses and alcohol products in the Rum industry throughout the Americas and the Caribbean.  Carlos built an import/export and wholesale business which has been in operation for the past 20 years trading primarily in consumer products. Through his company, MC Atlantic, he has distribution partners in Africa, Asia, Central and South America and the Caribbean .
